FAQs

New employees at AHBL are supported through multiple mentorship opportunities. Upon hiring, you will join our in-house mentorship program called Connection Crew, which connects you with a team member from another discipline. This approach helps you learn about AHBL’s culture, ask questions, and receive guidance as you navigate your first year with us. Additional mentoring will be provided from within your team to help you develop your skills internally and to assist you with learning the ropes at AHBL.

Twice a year AHBL recognizes both group projects and individual accomplishments at our all-staff meeting. We also recognize long-term service and two outstanding individual contributors during these gatherings, fostering a culture of appreciation and recognition. Employees can also nominate their peers for they monthly recognition award for individuals who demonstrate our core values and go above and beyond their normal duties.

We offer a variety of professional development opportunities from people skills to technical skills. Employees are encouraged to become licensed in their fields. Employees are encouraged to pursue continued education relevant to their roles and to obtain professional certification or licensure in their field. Continuing education is important for your career growth. We have an internal program to pay for some of the costs of licensure.
